no more report...time for PARTY..!!!

hoho....today...i've submitted my last report! (Crop Science)
wat a relief....no more reports and assignments...!!
well, actually i hv no time to feel relief coz my final exam'll start on 2nd of Nov!
OMG...Exam is just around the corner i hvnt started to touch any of my lecture notes!!
im gonna study hard for the next 2 weeks...wew...hopefully i'll do well...
im not hoping to get any HDs, i'll b very satisfied with Ds... T.T
my internal marks are not as good as before...i guess i've played too much dis sem....hm....

Before the hectic week's coming, im gonna hv fun for the last time, haha!
we r goin to hv BBQ party this sunday! woohoo....
the plan was originally from Carmen, she ajak us to go makan end of this week when all reports will be submitted liao...
but then rio said "kita masak aj!" woohoo...sounds nice...coz we got alot of chef around =)
Then we end up with BBQ party plan...i've booked the BBQ place at poolside which is just downstairs!
owkay i paid RM200 for deposit...now the only problem is to think bout wat kind of food to serve.
I really hope this party will be fun =) n i bet it will...hehe! there will be a total of 14 peeps.

hm...lets talk bout the last crop science report...it's actually a major project in the subject...
We've planted Bayam (Amaranthus gangeticus) since week 2 of the semester.
the whole experiment lasted for bout 7 weeks. well, basically we were looking at the effect of nitrogen fertilizer on plant growth and yield of bayam. We planted the bayam from a really small seed.
then we mix the soil by ourselves (3 sedentary soil, 2 sand, 1 chicken dung). we hv to water the plants EVERYDAY! including weekends and public holiday which are quite a nuisance. But it doesnt matter since there were 6 of us (me, mega, susan, yinny, kaamesh, tengku zahirah) who took turn to go to water the plants. We hv 4 treatment (0 N, 80 N, 160 N, and 240 N). There was 5 replication for each treatment. Thus, total is 20 pots lor....Well, this experiment was quite boring la actually...n we got report somemore...! Well, at least i learnt sth from the exp...Here's some photos...

owkay...the seeds start to germinate...it was suprisingly fast! it took only 2 to 3 days...

make sure that the baby bayam was at 5 differnt location in a pot with similar distance

when the bayam was around 10 cm =)

At last...the plants grows taller n taller n taller n taller...(can u spot me? haha)

lihat kebunku.. penuh dengan bayam.. ada yang kecil, dan ada yang besar.. setiap hari kusiram semua.. bayam grup lain tak bacok semua.. hahahaha...(Ikhwan, 2009)

As the experiment keeps goin on, insects, fungus, or other problem are observed too...
Accumulation of ants and mealy bugs (clear association can be seen)

Bent stem was observed too....

At last, before the plants were chopped of for their dry weight, we took the last pict of it....
This clearly showed the growth of plant with 0 N, 80 N, 160 N, and 240 N....
The tallest plant was found in 160 N followed by 240, 80, and 0....
0 is the control where there was no nitrogen was applied....

Note the colour difference of the leaves too....lack of nitrogen could cause the fading colour of leaves, bla bla bla...i feel like typing the report itself...im gonna stop talking bout this....

Okie Dokie....so this is all bout the project in Crop Science....

Jay Chou's coming to Malaysia!

Directed by Taiwanese director Kevin Chu, Treasure Hunter depicts a story of a chivalrous young man, Qiao Fei (Jay Chou) who risks it all and attempts to defeat an unscrupulous organization by protecting the treasure. The movie cost up to S$21,000,000 to produce, and also stars leggy Taiwanese supermodel, Lin Chi-ling alongside Eric Tsang, Chen Daoming, Chen Chuhe, and Will Liu.

Singapore will be the first stop for the movie's 11-day promotional tour. Lead actors Jay and Chi-ling will both arrive in Singapore on December 20 before they head to Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan.

I heard this news from Ellen yesterday n she said dat Jay will come at 21st of Dec! Hopefully it's in KL....wooohooo..! But then im not sure whether i'll be in Msia by dat time....

Bak Kut Teh SS15

hm....yesterday, 6th Oct, 1 unit's peeps n others went to eat bak kut teh @SS15...
well, that was the first time i ever tried eating a dry bak kut teh..it was spicy and delicious!!
We all kept saying hen hao chi shen jing bing (direct translation from enak gilak!) HAHA! it was hilarous! Sushu was the one who said this phrase...
there're 8 of us n sushu fetched us using his ex-car...
He made 4 trips in total (pergi 2x pulang 2x) since there're 8 peeps lor...

Sungei Wang Mid Autumn Street Party! 3rd Oct 2009

It was on 3rd of October! there were 11 of us who went to mid autumn street party @ Sungei wang...we went there by taxi (total 3 taxi)...i was in the same taxi with susan n stanley. Since we were the 1st to arrive at Sungei Wang plaza, we decided to look around inside the mall...
Me n Susan went in a quite interesting watch shop. There's one watch dat caught my eyes!

It looks so cute! Well, i bought it without any hesitation since it's only rm12.5!!
Maybe for some of u, this is just an ordinary watch, but for me, im sure it has sth do to with....

The artists finally came out one by one from 8.30 pm onwards. But before dat, there's lantern competition too...some of the lanterns were quite unique n cool....Well i didnt take any pic of it unluckily...

I wasnt very excited since i only know 6 out of the 10.
n i've seen some of them b4..dats why...

 So Jj came out as the last one n everyone was excited! When the show was almost over, Jj walked down the stage and started to shake his fans' hands! n guess wat...I TOUCHED HIS HAND!! Luckily i was in the VIP standing place. haha! from the 9 of us, only me n shenny got to touch his hand! wakakaka....jealous jealous?
nah.....nothing special la actually...haha!
