An interesting day! (04 April 2010)

alrite, i'll tell ya wats so interesting bout it...
basically i felt dat the day passed by so long coz i woke up at 3.30AM!!
Why did i wake up so damn early?
coz we planned to go to BROGA HILL...
This was initially Rocky's idea, he went there b4 with his frens....
A lot of people go there to see the sunrise...
So i woke up at 3.30, washed my face, brushed my teeth blah blah....
Owkay we all didnt shower dat morning...haha...coz we gotta rush to catch the sunrise....
Rocky drove his car n wait for us down at the lobby with Rio, Yudie, n Ikhwan...
Then Me, Susan, Pitok, Shenny n Mega finally were finally ready at ~4.25 haha (should be 4 sharp tho)!
SO....the journey began here.....

2 cars in total....rocky, rio, yudie n ikhwan in one car, me, mega, pitok, susan, shen in the other.
We managed to rent a car (Proton Wira) which was quite old for RM80/day....We pay rm70 at last coz there's quite a lot of fuel left....
The route was Seremban - Kajang - Semenyih - Jalan Semenyih
We followed Rocky's car from behind, n he said mega drove so slow...alamak...coz of the car's problem la ok...
At last we reached near the rabbit farm n then we parked our car there around 5+.
From dat point on, we need to walk by foot...
It's totally dark there n we were told to bring torch light n luckily we did.
I saw palm trees everywhere at first.
At the end of the palm trees plantation area, it was the starting point to Broga Hill....
At first it's not very tiring...but the road gradually become steeper n steeper...
ow nooo....We rest so many times...well bcoz i seldom do any sports nowadays, it adds to the tiredness...
There's total 4 peaks n at last we managed to reach the 1st peak...
wow...i was like owkay...it's a whole lot of people there! n i saw muslims starts to do their morning prayer there....coz it's almost 6...
The sky was still dark n cloudy n we decided to climb to another peak coz it's really crowded there....

So we stopped at peak 2 n settled down there....
We could see the sun was hiding behind the cloud n ready to come out anytime...
i didnt bring my tripod wit me since im afraid i cant bring too much stuff wit me....
so i just depend on my hand's steadiness....

We went back to our car n it's time to find sth to eat....

After the brunch, we go back to Sunway!
n the bad news is we lost our way! haha...
initially we were following rocky's car from the back, but we made the wrong turn....
after going round n round at last we arrived safely!
thx a lot to Mega our chauffeur for 1 day...hehe....
Arrived in house at around 12.30, i quickly took a shower n take a nap!
Since we still hv the rent car with us, we go to hv dinner at around 5...
We wanted to eat kwetiaw babi, but ended up eating steak at a steak house....

Sizzling garlic chicken....it makes me hungry everytime i think of it.....

While eating, we talked n talked till the rent car peep called n we hv to giv back the car alr
After reach home we still talked n talked till we stopped coz mega need to go to church! It's easter nite....
So we just follow her n go to the church! haha....

19th & 20th December = SYUC OPEN DAY!!!

Remember dat im currently a student helper at SYUC in marketing dept?
19th n 20th Dec was such an important day because of dat. Don't hv to mention, the tiredness was doubled the usual working day. I woke up at 5.45 AM, which was quite a miracle in a holiday atmosphere. Pitok, Susan, Ikhwan, Yinny, Yunny, n Tere were also working. The good thing were dat we got 2 Sunway shirts and breakfast, lunch, and teatime refreshment were provided...hoho...
At the 1st day of OD, i was assigned as student ambassador who took care of the campus tour. It was fun since i could talk to a lot of different people and i gotta chance to walk around the campus too. The campus tour was held every 15 mins interval. I got my own schedule which was at 12.45 and 4.15 pm. I was supposedly paired with a girl named Janice, but since the group of people was not too crowded, one people was enough to handle it. For the whole day, i only did the full campus tour once because the rest of the time i was ushering people who came in the college and guiding parents to view the hostel and condominium. I couldnt even count how many times i had made the trip from college to hostel/condo, and then back again to college. All i can say is dat it was tiring, but fun. Ow ya, and the rain was such a nuisance since i couldnt go back to college during the college-condo/hostel-college trip. Thanks to Susan who brought me umbrella (twice)...=)

Owkay, so dat was the 1st day, the second day wasnt very tired for me since i was assigned for different job. I was helping Ms. Lavanya in admission. Basically i had to put the new students' files (offer letter, fee structure, checklist, acknowledgment letter, orientation program sheet) in the envelope and gave back to them. I spent almost the whole day in the office. But i gotta chance to go out when there was not a lot of people. I even go the Nursing booth and have my blood pressure checked. It was 105/85 mmHg....whatever...Then i went to the flair-tending booth to try out their mocktail which contain, peach, passion fruit, pineapple, n mango juice. I also bought some dessert too....
Well, early in the morning, someone told me dat today (20th Dec) was Joseph's (one of the student helper too) bdae! So we've decided to celebrate it together with all the Marketing staffs. During noon, I told Ms. Dorothea (Dot) dat we wanna make a prank for J, she agreed and she even bought a small delicious cake for us to celebrate from the Hospitality booth! Thanks a lot Ms. Dot!
So by the end of the day, as usual, all the staff would make a big circle and starting to discuss about this year's open day! What to improve and bla bla bla....They also allow student helper to say something...but i didnt....haha! After they almost finished, the prank part started.....
Ms Dot said, " Hey Hey, i hv something to say to our student helper, Joseph. I heard complain from student's parent. Wat do u actually said to them when u were guiding them to the hostel huh? Did u say something bad about Sunway?" (something like dat)....
Well, we can see from J's face, he's quite shocked and his voice suddenly turned serious. The atmosphere suddenly turned tense. Which was a good thing, haha! We were preparing the cake behind the office, and TADA, the cake came out just in time where Ms. Dot had no more idea bout wat to say...haha...!
We all sang the Bdae song loudly....n unexpectedly, J's burst out in tears. The moment was quite touching for me though....I wonder anyone feel dat too?

After the singing n candle blowing session, we went outside the office n enjoyed the cake.

He said he's touched since he had stopped celebrating bdae since primary school...I wonder why...?

well, he took all his gear...D90 n several lenses....woohoo...so nice, i tried almost all his lenses...
fell like having all those lenses! Well, im not a camera maniac, but i just feel interested in it...
there's still a lot to learn from all those seniors...

11th of Nov, i started my first employment history...wakakka...
i ve never worked anywhere b4...n now dis is the chance to experience it!
well, it was quite tiring since i ve started to work since 9.15 in the mornin and finished at 18:30....tired but im feeling good...haha! firstly, it was only me n susan...now, its more fun since shen n pitok have started to work too....(after they finished their exam).
owkay, forgot to mention, i actually work as student helper only lar...not the coolest job, but still its my first job...well, i met roger n he said rm5/per hour is actually very cheap, he said i can find better job with higher salary...but ok la, since kolej is very near n convenient...
ok i hv no picture since i was too busy to capture some...
Open day for SYUC is coming, thus, its gonna be quite busy everyday...
Basically wat i did was just learning how to use the photocopy machine, how to do the insertion for the brochure, how to sort their file, bla3...i walked up n down several times since i was ordered to do a lot of photocopying which is located at the 1st floor...
today is 30th of November (end of the month), n i can get around rm300, woohoo, not bad....

enough bout the college....i have another job coming too....server in Bubba Gump Shrimp Company!
i only worked there on weekends tho...i ve worked there for 6 days....im still a trainee...gonna go solo probably by this week....wew...quite nervous....!
working as a server there is not as simple as i previously thought! ow man....
i seriously need to study hard to improve myself....
i need to memorize all of the menu (which is impossible for now)!
the names of the food are unique n sometimes r not easy to remember....
i found it quite cool...
hope dat i'll be alrite when i go solo this weekend...

owkay, i think i ll need to write bout the BBQ party b4 exam...hm...it was nice...
well, each person was charged rm27...
owkay...so the thing dat i wana write is about the fried mashed potato aka perkedel prank...few days b4, me rio n yin thought bout how to make sth unusual...then we were thinking of making perkedel with chili in it....rio made it himself at his house, haha, for me it cant really be considered as prank since the chili is tasty le....haha! the target for the prank is who dont eat chili alot...but then the first prank perkedel was eaten by hebi who really loves chili...aiyaya...she even praised and said dat the perkedel was very nice...haha...
ow ya, the BBQ setting was at the poolside at Sunway Lagoon View...the only uncomfortable thing is dat, ngam2 dat time, the lamp is out of service n we ended up having BBQ in the dark! ow man...ck ck...quite a nuisance...n then oso got mosquito...but ok la, its not as bad as dat la....we hv prawn, sausage, capsicum, marshmallow, onion, beef as the food, then for the drink, we bought packed orange juice...n Rio made a kind of drink with apple cubes in it...it has the smell of clover n kayu manis which was great! I would like to try to do it for my mom n dad coz i think they will like it.... =) later when im going back to medan of course...
